What are the responsibilities and job description for the Compliance Analyst position at TEKsystems?
*Job Summary:*
Support the Compliance team in maintaining control and oversight of the company's compliance calendar, which includes all regulatory returns and filings to
maintain US and Canada business. Assists the Government Affairs and Regulatory Teams in coordinating various responses and communications such as data calls and responses to outside stakeholders, including Departments of Insurance and other regulating agencies.
*Key Responsibilities: *
* Assists the Government Affairs Team in responding to Insurance Regulators and implementing mandatory filings and communications with Insurance Departments in all fifty states.
* Communicates throughout the business to prepare and execute mandatory informational filings in a timely manner.
* Analyzes and evaluates bulletins and communications that come in from various states and regulators and coordinates responses with in house counsel.
* Gathers information and data from appropriate stakeholders (both internal and external), to respond to various data calls and CAT reporting requirements.
* Conducts legal research to respond appropriately to State Regulators regarding the company's products and various State requirements.
* Maintains Company's Director and Officer Contacts and assists the CoSec Team in maintaining and updating US Company D&O biographical affidavits and fingerprint records in all states where required.
* Maintains Service of Process representation and records with CSC and CT Corp on behalf of all US entities.
* Files applicable Secretary of State filings on behalf of all US entities.
* Tracks and pays various state assessments and filings due annually.
* Maintains all company licensing applications and renewals for BUSA in all US states and submits corresponding Surplus Lines Tax Returns where applicable.
* Assists in submitting necessary documentation to the Canadian AIF for policies involving foreign exposure in Canada.
* Maintains all Canadian corporate registrations on behalf of Canada Limited.
* Assists the BHI Digital team with any Surplus Lines Tax Returns and filings.
* Assists on various departmental projects including financial exams, market conduct exams and internal audits.
* Maintains department's vendor relationships with Westlaw, Clear Reports, ISONet and ODEN.
