What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Engineer position at TEKsystems?
This is a direct placement permanent position and the client is not able to provide any visa sponsorship at this time.
This is a hybrid role working onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
Description:
This person will help fill knowledge gaps in the clients new data projects/data warehouse.
SKILLS:
• Advanced Knowledge in Structured Query Language
• Advanced Knowledge with Microsoft SQL Server Database
• Proficient in various methods and tools of ETL (Extract, Translate, and Load) processing. Example tools include SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), Azure Data Factory, Python Script, Qlik Replicate
• Ability to build out and trouble shoot ETL processes up to medium complexity utilizing SSIS
• Intermediate Knowledge of Relational and Multi-Dimensional data stores
• Familiarity of replication technologies: SQL native replication, Change Data Capture (CDC), QLIK Replicate.
• Knowledge of data modeling and data warehousing
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to work within project management frameworks used by the organization (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
