What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager Of Payments Systems Support position at TEKsystems?
*Description:*
The Corporate Banking and Transverse Systems IT is looking to bring on a hands-on manager of Payment systems to manage the production support and business projects for Montran JGPS and related Systems
* Lead production support and business projects for the Montran JGPS and related applications.
*Coordinate the internal and external resources required to support of the applications.
*Contribute to key initiatives related to technical/functional IT and business projects to meet and support business objectives.
*Responsible for production support:
*Manage day to day production needs:
-Resolution of production issues, including RCA, defect remediation and incident reporting.
-Lead troubleshooting of issues and provide guidance to the support team members.
-Track internal and vendor compliance with support SLAs.
-Management of maintenance activities including business continuity and critical application failover tests.
-Report on domain status to internal stakeholders and management.
-Actively support all efforts to simplify and enhance the information systems.
*Responsible for project deliverables:
*Act as main point of contact for projects.
*Work with project stakeholders and contributors to gather requirements and develop solution strategies.
*Coordinate with technical teams and provide clarifications and guidance on requirements.
*Create required documentation for requirements, solution design, implementation.
*Develop test scenarios and test scripts and execute and facilitate unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
*Train and support teams.
On-call
*Shift for the team starts at 7am then someone that ends at 7pm because the Fed closes at 7pm - The role doesn't work 7-7pm you can just split the coverage between the three people on the team (including the payments system manager)
*Batch runs and the teams cover the batch, batch is done by 9pm but not too many calls because it doesn't fail since it's very stable (rarely comes on)
*Weekend FED testing 4x a year therefore 4 weekends in the year or as needed for implementation/projects
