What are the responsibilities and job description for the OSP Foreman position at TEKsystems?
KCI is one of the largest Telecommunication Vendors in DMV and has a large present across the East Coast. They provide full turnkey solutions for both wireless and wireline sectors. Their wireless sectors are split up into a few groups, but ultimately support the major carriers (TMO, AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, Dish Network, and Crown Castle).
This position will be supporting the OSP for both wireline and wireless sectors. The foreman will be in charge of leading a 3 man crew to perform underground telecommunications/utility excavation, conduit/cable placement, and ground restoration. The foreman will be reporting to a Project Manager who will take care of the majority of client/admin duties, but the foreman still needs to be client facing. They need to have solid experience working on a backhoe, KCI uses the Takeuchi brand and feel confident maneuvering around underground placements. They also need to be able to provide direction to get the rest of the job done to the Helper and Tech II

This is a long-term/perm opportunity with one of the Nations leading Turf Vendors. They are a 100% employee owned firm that has great benefits, 401K, ESPOP(stock) options, college reimbursement, etc. This individual will have a company vehicle and helper. KCI was the number one Engineering firm in US for the last few years. They are also moving to a new state of the art facility in White Marsh, MD.
Foreman will get a company vehicle, and receive 40 at minimum if inclement weather cancels work.
They will be working on teams of 3. This will include a helper, tech II, and foreman. This is 100% outside work so needs to be used to the elements and Monday-Friday typical shift. Up to them when they start, but typically 7am-3pm. The new "yard" is in White Marsh, MD. They will pick up trucks here but can take them home if it is more convenient
