*Description:*
Position Responsibilities:
. Manufacture portable surveillance equipment by assembling various pieces of electrical equipment,
fabricating metal accessories as needed
. Work with hand tools, drill press and other various machines
. Perform basic repairs on equipment
. Test returning equipment
. Ensure efficiency and productivity by communicating with management
. Ensure quality and consistency in production
. Keep work area clean and safe
. Assist co-workers with receiving inventory and stocking shelves with equipment required for position
. Communicate with purchasing department regarding needed inventory items
. Ability to travel less than 10% if requested
Essential Skills and Experience:
. Ability to differentiate between colored wires and other electronic components
. Ability to lift 50 to 75 pounds
. Abide by company safety standards
. Must work well under pressure and within time constraints with ability to multitask
. Working knowledge of basic hand tools
. Verbal and written communication skills
. Organizational skills, attention to detail, and time management.
. Knowledge of electronics and/or security a plus
