System Design and Implementation:
OT System Development:
Design, implement, and maintain OT systems including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems that control industrial processes.
Develop and implement control logic, automation solutions, and data acquisition systems to meet the specific needs of the operation.
Integration and Interfacing:
Integrate OT systems with existing IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless communication between operational and informational systems.
Collaborate with IT teams to design and maintain network architectures that support OT systems, including secure remote access and data transfer.
Maintenance and Support:
System Monitoring and Optimization:
Monitor OT systems to ensure optimal performance, reliability, and uptime.
Diagnose and resolve issues in OT systems, minimizing disruption to operations and ensuring continuous production.
Upgrades and Enhancements:
Plan and execute system upgrades, ensuring minimal impact on operations.
Keep OT systems up-to-date with the latest technology and security patches.
Security and Compliance:
Cybersecurity:
Implement and maintain cybersecurity measures to protect OT systems from vulnerabilities and threats, including securing network access, monitoring for anomalies, and applying patches.
Work with IT security teams to ensure OT systems are compliant with industry standards and regulations.
Compliance and Documentation:
Ensure OT systems comply with relevant industry standards and regulations, such as NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443, and others.
Develop and maintain documentation for OT systems, including system configurations, operation manuals, and incident response procedures.
Collaboration and Training:
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with operations, IT, and engineering teams to ensure OT systems align with business objectives and operational needs.
Participate in project teams for new system implementations, expansions, and upgrades.
Training and Support:
Provide training and support to operators, maintenance personnel, and other stakeholders on the use and maintenance of OT systems.
Serve as a point of contact for OT-related issues and initiatives within the organization.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Skills:
Strong experience with OT systems, including PLCs, SCADA, DCS, and HMI systems.
Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC, Ethernet/IP, Profibus).
Experience with OT network design and security best practices.
Automation and Control:
Proficiency in programming and configuring automation systems, including experience with control logic development.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to OT systems (e.g., NERC CIP, ISA/IEC 62443).
