PayRate : $22.50 / hour on W2

Job Description : Qualifications :

Qualifications :

Proficiency in multiple skill clustersincluding electronics mechanical systems and manufacturingprocesses.

Knowledgeof tools and components used in the maintenance and repair ofmechanical systems.

Knowledge and experience in troubleshooting simple tocomplex motor control relays contactors and jog circuits.

Automated andsemiautomated machinery and process knowledge.

Sound judgment in the executionof technical / troubleshooting issues.

Strong verbal and written communicationskills.

Goodinterpersonal skills to facilitate communication at various levelsand areas within the organization.

Understanding of computers and computerizedcontrols.

Ability tolearn new technologies; understand and perform continuousimprovement activities.

Minimum QualificationsEducation & Experience

Must be at least 18years of age

HighSchool Diploma or GED required. Technical school backgrounddesirable.

Educationrequirements may be obtained through an educational institution orgained through equivalent work experience.

Up to 3 years of manufacturing experience.Previous experience with automated and semiautomated equipmentpreferred.

Work Environment

Work involves use of manufacturing equipmentor close proximity to equipment.

May be exposed to biohazards and / orchemicals.

Workenvironment can range from clean room and proper gowningrequirements to a production area that is open potentially noisyand with moving equipment.

Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs. and push / pull up to80 lbs.

Recurringphysical demands include standing walking stooping crouchingclimbing bilateral motion involving hands wrists and upper body.

Concentrated visualattention to perform checks on products and components.

Typically requirestravel less than 5% of the time.

Responsibilities :

TheAssembly Technician is responsible for ensuring the correctoperation of automatic and semiautomatic assembly productionequipment in accordance with governing documentation.

Initiate action to preventnonconformances related to the product and equipment.

Identify and record problemsrelating to the product process and / or quality system.

Initiate recommendations providesolutions and verify the effectivity of continuous operationalimprovements.

TheTechnician will apply automation skills along with relatedknowledge in electronics mechanics pneumatics and hydraulics totroubleshoot repair maintain and modify automated machinery.

Perform machinesetup equipment / product change overs troubleshoot equipmentperformance problems and assist team with machine adjustments.

Perform machine andsystems troubleshooting and repair; assist with the specificationinstallation and modification of integrated systems.

Perform diagnostic checks onautomated equipment; isolate problems including sensors controllersencoders servomotors and / or servo valves.

Make repairs to production equipmentutilizing the following skill sets : Controls drawings electricalgeneral mechanics hand tools hydraulics machine shop piping systemspneumatics and welding.

Conduct preventive maintenancetasks includes all Level I required tasks as per MP.

Understand machine MO PC WP STMand Interim Specifications.

Perform changeovers line clearance of components andtooling changeouts.

Fill component hoppers and complete necessarytraceability paperwork.

Pull inspection test samples and stage for QC Operator.

Engage in machinetroubleshooting on all assigned stations bevel mold pin &heater block changeout and bevel trim adjustments.

Update hourly production boardswith production and efficiency numbers for all Mods; note issuesthat prevented goal attainment (downtime waste quality etc.)

Process warehouseordering of components and pull tooling for changeovers.

Submit machinerepair tags to identify issues requiring support services.

Perform allfunctions of a Team Operator when required.

Perform other related duties asassigned or required.

This position is required to assure compliance ofCompany operations to all applicable laws regulations and standardsgood business practices and company documented procedures(including knowledge of all standards government occupationalhealth and environmental regulations and statutes related to thesite).

Engageothers; promote and participate in Environmental Health and Safetyinitiatives focusing on continuous improvement.
