A/V Support Technician

Job Description:

Summary

• Responsible for supporting and maintaining in-house audio-visual equipment and non-print media assets.
• This includes operating, maintaining, distributing, installing, configuring, repairing, and upgrading various electronic products while ensuring their optimal performance.
• This person will also troubleshoot problem areas in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training and assistance where required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required
• Background investigation and drug screen required
• Experience working with A/V and teleconferencing / videoconferencing systems.
• Experience with Skype for Business and Microsoft Products.
• Ability to manage project tasks, vendors, for on-time completion.
• Analytical, creative, and methodical in problem solving
• Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Self-motivated and directed.
• Keen attention to detail.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.

Required

• Understanding of IP Video, video production, and live streaming principles
• Skype for Business Video Conferencing
• Crestron, Amp, Speaker, Projector, TV, Microphone integration principles
• Audio and video conferencing techniques

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
