Duties and Responsibilities
1. Assists members by providing general information about Credit Union, its loan policies, and completion of loan applications.
2. Analyzes and tests for accuracy of information as input by member service representatives on credit repot and compares to credit application and system input.
3. Review loan projections and debt-to-income ratios on loan applicants, as input by MSR and calculated by system.
4. Guide and instruct member service representatives on critical steps and issues on loans to limit errors at closing and improper lien perfections.
5. Recommends lending products for cross-selling, e.g. Credit Life, Credit Disability, GAP coverage, Warranty, and other loan opportunities on qualifying loans.
6. Approve or deny loan applications based on member qualifications under our lending policy and loan guidelines.
7. Perform similar analyses and decisions for dealer generated indirect loan applications.
8. Serve as liaison to Telco Community Credit Union Indirect dealership representatives to facilitate prompt decisions, communication of program components, and loan funding as applicable.
9. Implement new loan products and services in accordance with management direction.
10. Work as Loan processor when required to include interviewing applicants for loans and processing various loan applications. Gathers background information and analyze loan applicant’s credit history.
11. Communicates and interacts with Telco Community Credit Union compliance staff as a means of initial quality control on loans.
12. Serves as liaison to insurance companies on total loss claims while also reviewing for GAP filing needs and requesting documents from insurance adjusters.
13. Coordinates and supports branch staff for Subsequent Action requests preparation and reviews.
14. Performs electronic and paper title reviews, acceptance, releases, and conversions as applicable.
15. Complete Lending educational and training programs in accordance with management directions.
16. Performs other assigned duties as needed by the VP of Lending in order to satisfy membership needs and discharge the business requirements of the credit union.

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
