What are the responsibilities and job description for the construction job foreman position at Telco, Inc?
Telco, Inc. is a PennDot qualified specialty contractor focused on traffic signal work and roadway lighting projects. Our work typically involves digging/pouring for concrete foundations for traffic signal poles, trenching road ways for installing wires and fibers, erecting mast poles, hanging signals, flagging, power up signals and other civil and electrical construction work.
We need qualified project foremen to help plan and lead our teams on the jobsite. Since our projects are typically designed uniquely for each intersection, qualified project foremen needs to be able 1) to read design blueprints, 2) are experienced people managers, 3) can deal with other contractors on the jobsite, and 4) results oriented. CDL truck license, and highway construction project experience are also great skills to have.
Most of our projects typically are paid on prevailing wages. The foremen will make $25 - 40/hour, plus bonus at yearend.
