SUMMARY
The human resource administrative assistant is responsible for the administrative support of day-to-day human resource operations. This position requires you to work in our corporate offices in Ocala, FL. It is not a remote or work from home position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

- Answers phones for the HR department.
- Performs HRIS data entry and personnel file maintenance – to include the full employee life cycle from onboarding through termination.
- Conducts background checks
- Maintains confidential personnel files and personnel actions.
- Facilitates onboarding events for field personnel
- Responsible for various aspects of employee relations – assisting employees with inquiries and issues.
- Assists the Recruiter/HR Assistant, HR Generalist and HR Director with projects and tasks.
- Any other related duties as assigned by management.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEGE
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to prioritize projects and multitask
- Knowledge of Windows, Word and Excel or similar programs required.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and ethical practices.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or equivalent required, plus three years of office/clerical support experience.
- Ability to work in our corporate office. Not a remote or work from home position.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
