Summary
The Software Engineer Intern is responsible for building new and improvement of existing software solutions offered to our customers as a service. As a member of Billing team it develops new functionalities within a complex system which ensures accuracy and delivery of multi-million $ invoices to some of the larger Web properties in the world – combination of both front-end and back-end development.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the entire software development cycle: design, development, testing, and deployment
- Design efficient, highly available and scalable technical solutions for business requirements
- Contribute to code base by producing clean and reusable source code, leveraging OOP
- Write unit tests and technical documentation
- Participate in code reviews to help increase the quality of our products
- Stay up to date with coding standards and relevant technology development
Essential Requirements
- Software development experience with OO languages (Python, C#, Java, C , etc.)
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns and common algorithms.
- Relational databases knowledge (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Computer Science student/degree and/or equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Linux platform
- Experience in Git
- Experience with REST API
