- High school graduate or equivalency
- Have attended an accredited school or certified medical assistant (preferred)

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Communicates effectively with patients, visitors, physicians, and co-workers.
- Adheres to safety policies and procedures in job duties and responsibilities.
- Assists licensed nursing personnel in providing perioperative care to the patient.
- Applies technical and specialized skills relevant to pre/postoperative nursing.
- Displays knowledge of instruments, supplies, and equipment maintenance requirements.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to exert force up to 50 lbs. occasionally, up to 20 lbs. frequently, and up to 10 lbs. constantly.
- Patient care activities may require the ability to exert a force of up to 30 lbs. constantly, up to 40 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to push and/or pull a wheelchair or stretcher with patient weight for a limited distance.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods.
Salary : $25,200 - $31,900
