Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys in the area of estate and trust administration.
- Handle communication with clients, attorneys, court clerks, beneficiaries, accountants, and other offices.
- Draft pleadings, correspondence, and transfer documents.
- Organize files, file pleadings with clerk offices, and recording of documents.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Monitor deadlines, calendar appointments, and deadlines.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Proven working experience as a legal assistant or legal secretary
- Familiar with estate and trust administration, including legal procedures, protocols, and court systems.
- Working knowledge of Abacus Law and Thomson Reuter Forms Builder, a plus
- Able to multi-task
