THE ROLE: Tenere is looking for an experienced Process Tech for 3rd Shift - Monday - Friday 10pm - 6:30 am. If you are a hard worker, self-starter and like to be challenged, this is the role for you. We offer career development through skill levels based training, knowledge and experience.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent with 5-8 years of experience as a Set up Technician in Manufacturing and Plastic Injection Molding.
Required Qualifications:
· Five to eight years experience with set-up, start-up and shut-down of machines.
· Mechanical experience and problem solving skills.
· Troubleshooting cosmetic and dimensional parts.
· Set-up of molds.
· Documenting set-ups and processes for optimal efficiencies.
· Forklift experience.
Job Summary: Responsible for the setup and documentation of set up of all molds (based on the Priority Production Set up list issued daily by the Production Manager). This position will ensure all molds are correctly tagged and identified and stored in a standard location. They will provide a catalog of mold locations of all departments (Manufacturing, Tooling, Engineering, Quality and Logistics.) and will update as appropriate.
Processor level provides highly skilled and advanced level of mold setup services, detail and problem solving. Assignments are non-routine, have substantial variety, and are complex. Develops solutions and alternative to assigned molding problems, including mold process sheets.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Ability to read, write, and interpret technical procedures and instructions in English.
· Ability to communicate with co-workers in a professional and effective way.
· Willingness to train others, share knowledge and technical expertise.
· Organize daily work to meet production schedules.
· Start up and shut down injection molding machines.
· Set up molds according to priorities.
· Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve processing problems.
· Record and validate process changes.
· Operate forklifts and cranes ensuring proper storage, care and handling of molds.
· Provide a hand-off report to the next shift's set up technician.
