What are the responsibilities and job description for the Enviromental Technician position at Tenneco?

Required Skills
- Perform all required waste water laboratory analysis and complete all required daily waste water treatment operational logs
- Responsible for proper overall operation of facility waste water treatment process, including basic plumbing and electrical repairs.
- Responsible for operation of the groundwater Remediation Air Stripper Process
- Responsible for oil recovery system and handling of used oil, any hazardous waste and care of empty drums.
- Responsible for preparing reports for the Arkansas Division of Environmental Quality
- Responsible for providing assistance with semi-annual groundwater monitoring events
- Data entry of data
- Specific maintenance related tasks.
- Team Member must perform his/her job within acceptable safety, environmental, quality,
- productivity and performance standards as outlined in plant policies, handbooks and applicable work instructions
- Ability to stoop, bend, lift, twist on a regular basis; ability to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs, repetitively
- Good attendance is required. Overtime as required/requested
Required Experience or Certifications
- Current Waste Water Treatment License
- HASMAT-DOT
- Electrical certification
- Ability to read and understand standard work, directions, charts and control plans
- Must have good work history
