Job Description:

We are seeking a Designer/Drafter to join our team! As an integral member of Tenshon, you will assist in the production of the best tensile membrane shade sails West of the Mississippi…and East of the Mississippi…so basically the best everywhere!

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SketchUp
• Understanding of geometry and basic principles of physics
• Self-motivated, but also be able to work cohesively with a team
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• General computer proficiency and file navigation skills
• Willing to learn new skills and adapt to different responsibilities and tasks
• Ability to pass a drug test and background test
• BONUS: Has an A.A.S. in Drafting and Design Technology or a related field

Responsibilities:

• Design shade sail structures using SketchUp
• Collaborate closely with project managers throughout the design process
• Develop comprehensive design packets to support quoting
• Create detailed Bill of Materials (BOMs) for all designs
• Prepare production sheets for the production team
• Draft designs for submission to engineering
