Die Designer Job Description
The Die Designer is responsible for designing and developing dies for use in the manufacturing of metal parts. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of CNC machining, 3D modeling, and tool making.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop dies for use in the manufacturing of metal parts
- Work closely with engineers and production staff to ensure that dies meet specifications
- Use CNC machines and 3D printers to prototype and test dies
- Document die designs and specifications
- Stay up-to-date on the latest die design technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- 5 years of experience in die design
- Strong understanding of CNC machining, 3D modeling, and tool making
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
