Under the supervision of the Medical Director, Physicians provide medical care to PACE All-Inclusive Care participants which includes assessment and development of a plan of care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team (IDT). Provides direct patient care and evaluation of the effectiveness of the plan of care. Makes independent decisions regarding medical needs and health regimens and Carries out medical procedures as indicated.
Requires MD or DO degree.
Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Colorado.
DEA registration and ability to obtain and maintain staff privileges at RMHCS contracted hospitals.
Board certified in Internal Medicine or Family Practice; advanced certification in geriatrics preferred.
One year of primary care experience with the frail and elderly population is highly desired.
Current BLS certification is required.
