Café Server
We are seeking a friendly, professional and efficient server to join our team at our busy café. The café server will be responsible for taking orders, delivering food and beverages, and providing excellent customer service to our patrons. This role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they arrive and provide menus.
- Take orders and answer any questions customers may have about the menu.
- Deliver food and drinks to customers in a timely manner.
- Ensure that each customer's needs are met and that they are satisfied with their dining experience.
- Process payments using the point-of-sale system.
- Clean, bus and reset tables as needed.
- Assist with food preparation and stocking supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Always follow health and safety guidelines.
Job Type: Part Time
Range: $15.50 – 16.00
Shift: Varies
Education and/or Experience:
- Prior experience in a restaurant or café environment preferred.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Barista, coffee house experience is a plus.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well on a team.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order-taking and payment processing.
- Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Acceptable driving record & criminal history background check.
- Must receive a negative Marijuana / Drug screen.
