The CNC Machinist produces machined parts by setting up and operating a computer numerical (CNC) machine, maintaining quality and safety standards, keeping records, and maintaining equipment and supplies.
This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity.
CNC Machinist Essential Functions
- Understand work orders, blueprints, manufacturing orders, and machining parameters
- Maintain specifications; troubleshoot, detect malfunctions, and take appropriate actions; know when to replace tools
- Listen to machining operations to detect sounds such as those made by dull cutting tools or excessive vibration and compensate for problems
- Assist with determining the sequence of operations, methods of setup, and machine tool programming as required
- To be successful in this role you would have great attention to detail and an eagerness to learn.
- 2 years CNC milling set-up and operator experience
- Ability to use both manual and CNC machines
- Proficient in basic math calculations
- Have basic machinist tools?
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 6:00 am - 2:30 pm
