We are seeking to hire a highly motivated and experienced corporate accountant to join our growing accounting team. Ideal candidate would be a curious and inquisitive individual who is both excel in the role and is also eager to learn.
Responsibilities
- Prepare consolidated cash balance report
- Review and code invoices to ensure correct billing and expanse allocations in payable workflow. Process invoice payments timely
- Process eCheck when management requests for immediate payment, and properly record cash transactions
- Process cash receipts, inter-company cash activities timely
- Prepare journal entries, accruals and adjustments
- Perform account analysis schedules
- Prepare credit card reconciliation and allocations
- Prepare Corporate bank account reconciliations
- Maintain accounting records for multiple corporate entities
- Maintain Corporate Fee receivable report and process inter-company transfers monthly.
- Maintain project level debt schedules for executive reporting
- Maintain Due To and From Corporate schedules for the development projects
- Assist annual budget of the corporate entities
- Assist on gathering documents required for filing annual tax return
- Assist on 1099-Form annual filing
- Interact with accounting departments and across all levels
- Prepare Ad hoc projects per executives’ request
Qualifications
- Bachler’s Degree in accounting or related discipline
- 2 years of Corporate Accounting experience
- Applied knowledge of accrual basis GAAP accounting
- Bachler’s Degree in accounting or related discipline
- Proficiency working with Yardi (Voyager) or equivalent software
- Proficient working knowledge of MS Excel/Word/Outlook
- Ability to understand accounting cycle and flow.
- Ability to understand multiple tiers organization structure
- Ability to exercise a high degree of diligence and accuracy
- Strong written & verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical skillset and focus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
