What are the responsibilities and job description for the Layout Artist position at Terraboost Media?
The Layout Artist is responsible for formatting high-quality, visually appealing, on-brand, on-time artwork for Terraboost clients, across a broad range of campaigns.
Essential Functions:
- Work with Graphic Designers to provide efficient service and meaningful experiences.
- Format artwork to ensure a high-quality print.
- Design and produce in-house designs as needed.
- Provide quality control, such as spell checking, over designer work.
- Follow the best practices of the design and creative team.
- Work efficiently with other team members to deliver projects against deadlines.
- Organize workflow to meet customer specifications and deadlines.
- Ensure work is compliant with client and company specifications.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Impeccable attention to detail and strong time management skills.
- Strong ability to translate client requirements into design.
- Extensive experience with Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on design.
- Team player with the ability to multi-task.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Able to prioritize project importance and be able to work independently.
Minimum Required Education and Work Experience:
- A minimum of one (1) year of print formatting experience required
- Graphic design work experience, preferred
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design/Multimedia Design or related field or comparable experience.
Physical Requirements:
- This is a stationary position, with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
- This position will require prolonged periods of operating a computer/keyboard/mouse/monitor and other office productivity machinery such as a copy machine, computer printer and telephone.
- The person in this position needs to occasionally move about the office to access office machinery or attend meetings.
- Work is performed in a temperature-controlled environment, but employee may be required to travel to off-site meetings for business purposes.
