You contribute to our success. Every role has an impact on our patients’ lives and you have the opportunity to make a difference. We are looking for a dedicated Operations Coordinator like you to be a part of our team.
Coordinates department staff, work order completion, equipment preventative maintenance, compliance rounding and documentation within HCA software.
2. Oversees miscellaneous projects performed in-house or by outside contractors to ensure projects meet budget and all regulatory licensing, codes, and standards.
3. Performs maintenance tasks in Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, and misc. (hands on performance)
4. Serves in on-call rotation with Engineering / Plant Operations staff.
5. Orders and maintains supplies for department.
6. Serves as one of the facility contacts for vendors and contractors for all facility projects, proposals, project management, as well as leading the day-to-day activities until completion.
7. Monitors contractors and vendors to ensure a safe working environment.
8. Works with the hospital’s Environment of Care (EOC) officer and supports facility quality improvement program initiatives.
9. Supports departmental and facility-wide compliance with all Life Safety and Environment of Care standards for The Joint Commission, State Department of Health, and CMS along with all other applicable regulatory or accrediting agency requirements pertaining to the facility.
10. Manages and monitors all aspects of quality assurance and improvements (preventive and scheduled) for buildings, grounds, and construction projects to ensure quality standards are met.
11. Serves and participates on hospital committees and task forces as requested.
12. Communicates with staff, administrators, and leadership on progression of work.
13. Other duties as assigned.
