Roles & Responsibilities Main duties and responsibilities: Oversees the day-to-day operation of Process plant & be responsible for the production output, product quality, production targets and on-time delivery Planning, organizing, directing and running optimum day-to-day operations to exceed customers' expectations. Increasing production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards. People and resources management Improve productivity output through optimum organization of labour, improves work method with minimize plant downtime Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus Data analysis & reporting to the management Managing profit & loss of the business Prepare plant budgeting, expenses and requirement of CAPEX/OPEX Readily to lead team & “Hands-on” Champion in various activities related to safety, quality, productivity, innovation, information and data security, supply management, marketing, people management, HR and other deliverables Develop and drive continuous improvement, operations excellence & cost control initiatives Support commercial initiatives for new customers’ requirements and audits Support new and ad-hoc program or initiatives Coordination between business entities to ensure smooth operations and effective communications Job Requirements: Degree from a recognized university in Chemical or Mechanical or Industrial Engineering 8 -15 years of experience in Chemical Process-Plant Operations and Maintenance, preferably from plastics or oil and gas industry with sound knowledge in EHS and Quality Additional knowledge/experience in project management, lean management, TQM, supply chain, contract law, finance, are advantageous
