Job Summary
As a Level 1 AV\VC Equipment Tech you will provide AV\VC equipment checks in conference rooms across our client’s sites. Using a company provided laptop, you will be testing conference room equipment performance and logging service tickets when repairs are needed. Our ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter who is friendly and engaging with customers and co-workers alike. As the face of TES, we rely on your demeanor to always display our core values.
To be a successful Level 1 Tech, you are skillful at working in a quick paced environment and demonstrate a willingness to accept and drive innovation and process improvements. You are comfortable taking direction from an on-site lead and are at ease working alone or in a team environment.
Cross training is available in areas such as: IT equipment collection, restocking IT vending machines, recyclable tech.
This is what you will do:
- Participate in a 1 – 2-week training period, most training will be on-the-job and hands on at the client’s site.
- Provide AV/VC equipment checks/testing through system hub on company provided laptop, ensuring that all the AV and VC equipment is functional.
- Raise tickets via customer ticket system for all equipment issues that identified through the system check/test.
- Complete required forms and upload them to customers record repository.
- Maintain logs and reporting documentation utilizing MS Excel and other MS applications.
- Adhere to business guidelines, company policies such as Time tracking in TES APS app and recording mileage to/from jobs in expense system.
- Always adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues in a professional manner.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience using Microsoft Windows & PC skills.

- Competency in performing multiple functional tasks.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Prefer 1 year IT customer service, other relevant customer service-related experience
- Prior experience handling IT equipment and peripherals
The job requires an individual to be able to do the following with or without accommodation:
- Lift up to 70 lbs. throughout the day or the maximum required by state law.
- Sit and/or stand for extended periods of time in one place.
- Ability to bend, reach, squat, push/pull a cart with up to 400 lbs. capacity.
- Using computer for time and data entry
