The Industrial Energy Software Team is responsible for controlling all of Tesla's commercial and utility-scale energy storage products like Megapack and Powerpack. As an integration engineer on this team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our products and algorithms. You will be hands-on with the hardware, firmware, and software at the heart of our products. You will architect, design, and implement firmware validation procedures, equipment, tooling, and automation to efficiently test components and subsystems of our products. You will work closely with electrical, mechanical, and architecture teams to explore and validate the capabilities of our hardware and firmware to ensure code quality is high. Your effort to create and equip automated validation infrastructures and coverage reporting will have a direct impact on the reliability, robustness, and value of our products.

What You?ll Do
- Design advanced automated test suites and how they integrate into our development process
- Perform data analytics to aggregate information from many sources, analyze events and build contextual timelines, identify anomalies, measure firmware performance, and identify improvements
- Design, build, and maintain test setups for the systems at the heart of our products
- Explore and innovate methods of testing the robustness and quality of industrial firmware and software
What You?ll Bring
- Minimum of 1.5 years of relevant experience in software or embedded design/validation
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience, or equivalent
- Proficiency in Python
- Experience with SQL or other query languages
- Familiarity with C, C , or Rust
- Experience with Linux systems and shell scripting
- Familiarity with Docker
- Familiarity with computer networking and Ethernet
- Familiarity with data analytics and working with moderately large datasets
- Familiarity with source control (i.e. Git) and continuous integration (i.e. Jenkins)

Expected Compensation
$104,000 - $348,000/annual salary cash and stock awards benefits
Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
