As an Acquisition Specialist, you will work cross functionally alongside our Used Car, Delivery, Sales, and Service to accurately appraisal for trade-in vehicles. However, to succeed at Tesla, you must be highly organized, detail oriented, and efficient. - Acquisition Specialist leads go a step further, working closely with management to ensure efficiency of the acquisition specialist team. They do this by handling the team schedule, daily breakdown, training, and coordinate completion of projects. Support field teams in resolving customer questions and concerns
What You’ll Do
Be a leader and example to team members and colleagues.
- Review market indicator data, vehicle history and vehicle condition to appraise the value of trade-in vehicles in keeping with current Tesla valuation strategies
- Accurately record valuations and track inventory using Tesla internal system
- Be the subject matter expert and have accountability in your trade-in appraisals
- Procure operational improvements and coordinate with engineering partners to push projects to completion
- Develop strong relationships with cross functional business partners (Sales, Delivery, Service) to create an exceptional customer experience
- Lead and support training initiatives to ensure field teams understand trade-in processes
- Work closely with the acquisition specialists to coordinate daily breakdown and team schedule everyday
- Support field teams in resolving customer questions and concerns
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred. In lieu of a degree, relevant experience
- Be a self-starter who possesses exceptional time management skills and has great attention to detail
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment, as well as independently
- Develop best practices that excite the team to educate and excite prospective customers about Tesla’s product offerings
- Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must
- Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines and comfortable in a fast-paced, rapidly changing working environment
- Ability to work weekends on a regular schedule, as needed
- Ability to understand and convey business issues and technical concepts
- Highly efficient working across multiple computer systems, experience with CRM a plus, experience with MS Office required
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned to meet business needs
