What to Expect
Looking for a Foreign Trade Zone analyst who will report to the Program Manager and will be responsible for administering the day-to-day FTZ operations in the Sparks, NV, Foreign Trade Zone.
What You’ll Do
Monitor FTZ operations end to end to include daily processing zone transactions
Prepare and submit required weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual documentation and forms to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) in a timely manner
Prepare and submit all daily FTZ admissions (e214)
Retrieve/review shipping documentation pertaining to foreign receipts
Research and validate foreign vs domestic receipts into the FTZ
Validate FTZ data against actual documentation as needed to ensure accuracy of integration and information
Analyze and prepare weekly estimated entry (CF3461)
Identify, reconcile and resolve any inventory issues in a prompt and timely manner
Reconciles the inventory records between Warp & OneSource
Prepare weekly Customs entry (CF7501)
Manage export transactions from the FTZ (CF7512) as needed
Maintain and retain FTZ records as required
Coordinate all customs activities with other Custom Brokers, Forwarders, and logistics services providers
Conduct reviews/audits of all FTZ records while ensuring accurate and complete record keeping are maintained for FTZ movements
Provide annual FTZ reports (Yearly Blanket CBP form 216, Annual Reconciliation, Certification Letter, FTZ Board Report)
Other duties as assigned – Depending on status of ongoing projects and support needed on the different areas of Customs Compliance including but not limited to audits
What You’ll Bring
Experience dealing directly with US Customs and Border Protection
Working knowledge of the U.S. Foreign Trade Zones program including compliance and best practices
Working knowledge of the imports, exports, Customs brokerage, HTS classification, inventory control systems, warehousing and logistics activities
Detail oriented with strong organization skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines
Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions
