What You’ll Bring
As a Tesla Sprinkler Fitter, your responsibilities will include interpreting blueprints, coordinating the installation of pipes, fittings, valves, and hangers within our cutting-edge manufacturing facilities. You will play a crucial role in conducting inspections, tests, and preventive maintenance services for fire sprinkler equipment.
What You’ll Do- Cut, thread, and groove pipes of various materials
- Assemble and install metal and non-metal pipes, tubes, and fittings
- Connect pipes using threaded, grooved, or cemented joints, securing them with brackets and hangers
- Weld pipe supports to structural steel
- Operate machinery for system installation and service
- Read blueprints and interpret specifications for job requirements
- Perform test, inspection, and service requests on diverse fire sprinkler systems
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, and project inventory
- Comfortable working at heights on ladders or lifts
- Proficient in reading NFPA standards (13, 14, 17, 20, 25, etc.)
- Flexible for short-notice overtime work and willing to travel
- State of Nevada Fire Marshal G-Card License
- Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl; Occasionally sit; Must lift and/or move more than 100 pounds occasionally
- Must have command of the English language, both written and verbal
