PositionSummary:
Under the direction of the Director of Slot Operations, the Slot Supervisor will supervise the slot floor operations, which includes overseeing the Slot Attendants, Slot Techs and ensure quality guests services and to create a positive a fun gaming experience.
Note: Native American preference will be given.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Ensures efficient floor coverage.
- Oversees the repair modifications and preventative maintenance on gaming machines, which are beyond the mechanical or technical scope of a slot attendant.
- Plans and directs work schedules and assignments, training and counseling for slot attendant.
- Assists with investigations of all cheating attempts, malfunctions, and sub-standard equipment within the department
- Ensures that employees provide excellent customer service and are treated with respect.
- Adheres to regulatory, departmental and company policies in ethical manner.
- Walks the floor observing slot performance and handling disputes.
- Ensures that payouts are performed in a timely manner and reset machines after payoff.
- Documents slot transactions and other activities on a daily basis.
- Ability to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Maintains complete confidentiality with all casino business.
- Ability to implement and administer disciplinary procedures.

Experience and Education:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisor/leadership experience
- Bi-cultural is a plus.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisor/leadership experience
- Title 31 training.
- Must be 21 years old.
- Must have valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, background investigation, and obtain and maintain a gaming license from the Pueblo of Tesuque Gaming Commission.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The Slot Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the slot attendants and slot technician’s in the Slot Department, ensuring alignment with departmental and organizational objectives. The supervisor provides guidance and assistance in addressing unusual situations that may arise, particularly those without clear precedents or requiring interpretation of policies and regulations.
Following initial training, the Slot Shift Supervisor is expected to perform duties independently, demonstrating proficiency and autonomy in task execution. Regular spot checks are conducted to evaluate accuracy, adequacy, timeliness, and compliance with relevant rules, regulations, and policies.
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand and walk for extended periods. The employee occasionally is required to sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee will be required to talk for extended periods and must be able to hear and understand. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to fifty (50) pounds. The incumbent occasionally exposed to loud noise, change in temperatures, and second-hand smoke.
Work Environment:
Work is generally performed in a casino setting with exposure to second-hand smoke and a high noise level. Due to the nature and scope of this position, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended hours and irregular shifts will be required.
