Tetra Tech Inc. Disaster Recovery (TDR) is currently seeking a Logistics Coordinator (Onsite) for a disaster recovery program for the state of IOWA.

The successful candidate will provide crucial support to individuals and communities impacted by natural disasters. We work to ensure that those affected receive timely assistance, accurate information, and compassionate support.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dedicated Logistics Coordinator to join our team. The role is based in Des Moines, Iowa. As a logistics coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing and facilitating the movement of goods and materials within our organization.

Your role will involve coordinating logistics activities, ensuring that they are carried out efficiently and according to schedule.

Requirements :

o Coordination of Shipments : Arrange transportation and logistics for shipments of goods, ensuring timely delivery to customers or other destinations.

o Inventory Management : Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment as needed to ensure the availability of products.

o Documentation : Prepare shipping documents, such as invoices and shipping orders, to ensure smooth and timely customs clearance and delivery.

o Communication : Liaise with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues that may arise.

o Tracking and Reporting : Track shipments and maintain accurate records of all logistics activities, including costs, freight quotes, and delivery times.
