Tetra Tech Inc. is currently seeking Processor in Maitland, FL. The Processor is responsible for gathering complete and accurate documentation on all loan files prior to the loan being sent to the Underwriting Department. The Processor is to ensure that all files meet the policy and guidelines set forth by the company as well as all regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Review initial application to ensure accuracy of information
Review initial application to ensure required documentation has been received.
Complete outreach to applicant to communicate application requirements
Review conditions to ensure compliance with project guidelines as well as all state and federal regulations.
Review file for completeness of all conditions (including proof of residency and home ownership) prior to submitting to Underwriting.
Evaluate income calculations using the information provided from the borrower including self-employed borrowers.
Analyze mortgage statements to determine delinquency and affordability to ensure that any the applicant meets our policy standards.
Attend meetings from time to time to help facilitate learning, communication and understanding to other employees in order to ensure policies and guidelines are being met.
Review Policy and Standard Operation Procedures and adhere to guidelines therein
Complete any other duties related to project risk management and the loan applications as assigned.
The selected candidate will preferably have experience in housing case management programs.
The ideal candidate should have the following:
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of processing mortgage loans
- Quick and efficient computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office and Teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, work effectively under pressure, and prioritize workloads.
- Proven ability to manage large case loads
- Effective written and verbal communication skills, professional phone etiquette
- Must be able to do complete basic math calculations
- Critical thinking skills a must
- Problem Solving skills required
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance
