The Customer Service Representative will interact with the company’s customers by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, scheduling calls, handling bill payments, registering service contracts, and fielding a variety of questions from the public.

- Interacts with customers via telephone, email, online chat, or in person to provide support and information on products or services.
- Collects and enters orders for new or additional products or services.
- Fields customer questions and complaints; when the issue is beyond the representative’s knowledge, forwards to the assigned specialist or other appropriate staff.
- Ensures that appropriate actions are taken to resolve customers problems and concerns.
- Maintains customer accounts and records of customer interactions with details of inquiries, complaints, or comments.
- Schedules calls and handles bill payments as requested by the customer
- Consistently meets and exceeds the expectations of the customer
- Establishes rapport and a good working relationship with the customer
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent communication skills including active listening.
- Service-oriented and able to resolve customer grievances.
- Professionalism and strong work ethic
- Proficient computer skills with the ability to learn new software.
- Able to Multitask and manage a multi-line phone systems and multiple calls as needed
- Ability to work as a team player and work independently at times as dictated by the needs of the business

- Customer Service Oriented – Friendly, cheerful, and helpful to customers and co-workers
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Customer service experience required.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Ability to talk on the telephone for several hours at a time
- Requires the ability to hear over the telephone, listen and take care of the customer’s needs.
