Responsibilities Maintain a working knowledge of all services and product requirements of the Warehouse Lending line of business. Review client requests and internal QC results to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal and external policies and procedures. Document all errors and exceptions for use in client level reporting and tracking. Experience with data manipulation to produce reporting quickly and efficiently. Work with large data sets using Power Query or other querying tools in order to quickly digest and arrange data Produce monthly and quarterly reporting to inform senior management of trends, issues, and gaps in QC results via Excel, PowerBI, or other reporting tools. Work with clients to resolve gaps in their internal QC process to better ensure data integrity and therefore facilitate accurate fundings by the Warehouse Lending line of business. Responsible for analyzing complex mortgage loan transactions to ensure the loan is within program guidelines. Review Jumbo loan packages for completeness and accuracy to provide management with a recommendation of funding action. Detect and prevent fraud. Conducts internal testing with a focus on procedural efficiencies. Perform and document secondary reviews to ensure accuracy. Will communicate heavily with clients, both internally and externally. Partner with various lines of business to fully understand customer relationships. Maintain strict confidentiality over customer information. Perform other QC support functions as required or assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 5 years of mortgage underwriting and/or QC experience preferred Experience with the origination portion of the mortgage life cycle Strong written and verbal communication skills Highly organized and meticulous Must multi-task and independently prioritize objectives Working knowledge of investor guidelines such as FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, etc. Familiarity with interpreting results of Desktop Underwriter, Loan Prospector, and Manual Underwriting Strong ability to review documentation, perform analysis, validate, and document potential risk Strong skillset in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
