This role is a vital member of the Technology Finance organization that provides direct financial oversight and decision support for Texas Capital Bank Technology department. The key focus of this member will be in the development, implementation, and maintenance of the Technology Business Management Office. The position provides opportunities to work directly with senior business executives and finance department leadership in identifying trends and providing recommendations to find efficiencies across the IT organization. This role has a strong analytical focus and will require a self-motivated, action-oriented strategic thinker who can prioritize, communicate and collaborate to build relationships across departmental lines, and drive projects to successful completion. Applicants should have a problem solver attitude with a curious mindset. Responsibilities Be leading member of the Technology Business Management Office (TBMO) and key partner to the Technology Leadership Team; assisting in driving change to modernize our IT planning and cost allocation processes. Implement Technology Business Management solution, then lead in maintaining and optimizing process on go-forward basis. Build strong partnerships at multiple levels while informing and influencing strategic decisions. Build analytics to reduce cost in IT by locating inefficiencies. Drive business partners to solution from unit economics and benchmarking. Bring a large knowledge base of institutional technology structures including application development, information security, architecture, project management, and infrastructure. Develop and drive structure on month-end close, quarterly forecast, and annual operating planning through TMBO practice and solution. Manage within deadlines from a variety of business partners including corporate finance, technology finance, and accounting. Qualifications An undergraduate degree Minimum of 5 years supporting a technology business management office Very strong knowledge base of TBM tools like APPTIO and/or NICUS Understanding of IT financials, IT structures, and cost allocations Related financial/business analysis and planning experience Initiative to identify business questions, scope and logically structure an analysis, extract relevant insights, and communicate with a point of view Self-motivated, results-oriented self-starter with attention to detail Thrives off challenges, loves solving problems, and extremely curious mindset. Ability to build relationships with, and provide thought leadership to officers of TCB Experience thriving in a dynamic and fast-moving work environment Experience effectively managing several work streams and projects concurrently Strong communication (written and oral) and partnering skills Experience sourcing data from database applications and working efficiently with large data sets Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint and financial modeling Prior experience supporting a technology organization preferred Prior experience working in the financial services industry preferred MBA/CPA or similar degree/certification preferred The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification.
