What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse RN Geriatric Post Surgical Justin Tower position at Texas Health?
- Work location: Fort Worth, TX / Justin Tower
- Work environment: Geriatric Post Surgical Unit - This is a great opportunity to increase your skills and make a difference in the lives of the community we serve.
- Work hours: Full-time, 36 hours weekly, Rotating Weekends/Holidays, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
- Salary range: $27.50 - $52.88 per hour (based on relevant experience)
- $10,000 Sign On Bonus For Eligible RN’s ( Eligible upon hire with a signed retention agreement)
- Associates Degree in Nursing (required)
- BSN preferred
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire (required)
- Current BLS (required) – expiration date greater than 3 months preferred.
- CPI training within 60 days of hire (required)
- One (1) year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program (required)
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful RN will have
- 2 years experience as an Med/surg RN including charge /preceptor skills (preferred)
- Current RN experience in Tele/PCU or Trauma (preferred)
- NICHE -Nurses Improving Care for Healthsystem Elders (preferred)
