Texas Oncology is looking for a Senior Facilities Project Manager - Cancer Center Services to join our team! This position will support our Dallas, Texas locations. This position is 100% remote for local Dallas,Texas or Houston,Texas candidates.  It requires 50% - 70%  travel to the practices. What does the Senior Facilities Project Manager - Cancer Center Services do?

The Senior Project Manager- Facilities - Cancer Center Services is responsible for routine maintenance repair, new construction, and additions or modifications inside and outside the clinic facilities. Manages facilities vendors. Directs all on-site facility teams. Supports and adheres to the US Oncology Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards.

Responsibilities:

The essential duties and responsibilities:

  • Reviews all facility and ground expenditures/invoices against contract and authorizes payment.
  • Represents the Practice in all facility and grounds-related issues.
  • Oversees negotiating and obtaining any contracts, estimates, bids and repair charges from all outside contractors, subcontractors and vendors.
  • Routes contracts for management's approval.
  • Manages contractors to ensure contract fulfillment.
  • Specifically related to patient and caregiver safety and security, as well as facilities and grounds.
  • Oversees or performs electric work under the required State Electrical License, which includes performing electrical safety checks of equipment, generators, and emergency equipment.
  • Liaison between security company and Practice.
  • Oversees or performs routine and specific assignments including repairing and maintenance of equipment.
  • Installs and repairs floor and wall coverings.
  • Assists other staff in handing materials on major repair or installation projects.
  • Oversees or performs assembly, moving, and installation of furniture and fixtures.
  • Oversees or performs repairs of desks, file cabinets, chairs, and other furniture and fixtures.
  • Oversees or performs replenishment of supplies in restrooms and lounges, changing of light bulbs, and routine repairs to buildings and equipment.
  • Maintains adequate supply inventories of such items as filters, lamps, and janitorial supplies.
  • Manages, coaches, and develops staff.
  • Responsible for interviewing, recommending hires, assessing performance, recommending salary changes, and progressive discipline.
  • Enforces adherence to USON policies.
  • Maintains a safe and secure work environment.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have the following background and experience: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Trade school or vocational diploma preferred.
  • Minimum 10 years of maintenance experience
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience.
  • Experience in healthcare and real estate is strongly preferred.
  • Working knowledge of radiation eqipment requirements is strongly preferred.
  • State Maintenance Electrical License if required.
