What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Front Office Specialist position at Texas Sinus & Snoring?
ENT Office is growing. We are seeking an experienced Front Office Specialist. We have added additional providers and need to expand our support staff with individuals that possess outstanding oral and written communication skills as well as leadership qualities. This specialist should be able to work in fast-paced environments as a team player.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to assisting the team with:
- Greeting patients in a professional, friendly manner
- Assisting patients through the check-in/check-out process including new patient paperwork in electronic format.
- Check referrals and process accordingly
- Process New Patients
- Process patient payments
- Schedule and/or reschedule appointments, as well as confirming appointments for the following day
- Answer phone calls in an energetic manner and be willing to assist patients in a timely manner with questions.
- Return phone calls in a prompt fashion
- Maintain a clean, sanitized waiting area as well as an organized office space
- Fluent in Spanish is preferred
A successful candidate should be organized as well as able to manage a demanding workload independently.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
