Duties and responsibilities of the Maestros Student Development Specialist-II include:
- Supervising the work of others
- Establishing rapport with students, faculty, and colleagues
- Motivating output, mediating, working with individuals and groups, and directing the work of others
- Assisting with the development, implementation and assessment of professional development workshops and conference
- Monitor and track student completion of the C3 Certificate program
- Provide transfer navigation for students in various fields;
- Explain admissions and registration policies;
- Refer students to appropriate sources of help;
- Respond to inquiries from parents, students, faculty and staff;
- Enter/update data, develop and maintain accurate records and work logs;
- Participate in University efforts toward recruitment and retention;
- Perform other duties as assigned
