PRODUCTION PLANNER
Texas Tissue Converting is a paper converting company located in the Conroe, TX north of Houston Area. We are currently seeking to add a Production Planner to our team to strategically plan and maintain the production schedule based on customer needs, available materials, and staffing. To be successful in this role you must be proactive, enjoy problem-solving and easily adapt.
The Production Planner will be responsible for producing the Texas Tissue Converting production schedule, updating it, and communicating it to all departments.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop weekly, monthly and long-term production plans.
- Schedule and lead all planning meetings as well as outward communication and distribution or production plans and work orders.
- Oversee accurate creation of all work orders and send them to quality and production teams by required deadline before a setup is to take place.
- Audit all post-production consumption, performance and waste.
- Report daily performance to external entities using Microsoft Teams, email and ERP system.
- Develop, maintain and report monthly KPI's to the organization.
- Work with quality and production departments to optimize line planning and performance.
- Oversee creation and release work orders within the ERP system.
- Create and optimize the raw material forecast for upcoming production schedule.
- Ensure on time and accurate delivery of raw materials.
- Issues RFP's for purchase of poly, boxes, pallets and other consumables to support production demand as needed.
- Use RCA's, FEMA analysis and other tools to properly identify weakness in the planning, production and procurement system.
- Audit inventory inaccuracies based on historical transaction analysis.
- Provide training/education and administer individual development plans for team members
- Follow Safety and Operations Procedures and Quality Programs
- Communicate and support Company's certifications and outside agency requirements and certifications, including but limited: ISO 9001, HACCP, Food Safety, and Customer System Requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree or relative Paper industry experience in Converting and Planning
- Additional education in engineering or manufacturing preferred
- Previous planning, accounting, inventory management, and/or manufacturing experience
- Highly organized and detail oriented, required
- Very strong computer skills, required
- Previous ERP experience, Syteline a plus
- Strong math skills required
- Character traits: Proactive, detailed, organized, and excellent communicator
