Responsibilities:
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical or dental office
- Collect and update patient information, including personal and insurance details
- Schedule appointments and manage the office calendar
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Assist with medical administrative support tasks, such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Maintain patient records and ensure accuracy of information
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
Skills:
- Proficient in office procedures and equipment operation
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Experience in providing medical administrative support
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Customer service-oriented with a friendly and professional demeanor
