As a Commercial Loan Processor, you will:
- Use Microsoft Excel to create and update numerous management reports. Discern meaningful trends and anomalies and recommend decisions to management.
- Assist and act as a backup to the Management Support Officer with their duties as needed.
- Support the commercial lending department with requesting, receiving, processing, and organizing financial reports from commercial loan borrowers
- Support the commercial departments' strategic initiatives and project roadmap. Also support project testing for other departments.
- Track documents, update documents, request updated documents and account maintenance for existing commercial loans. This will require out of office work and errand running.
- Assisting in creating commercial reports for the department, management, and the board.
- Perform such other functions and special projects that might be needed from time to time and assists others to complete tasks and work assignments.
- Compose, type, file, fax and/or copy correspondence to members, business associates, vendors, and staff.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED. A bachelor’s degree is a plus.
- 2 - 5 years of experience in a fast-paced organization. Financial institution experience a plus.
- Ability to maintain strict protocol and confidentiality and consistently exhibit a professional image
- Experience working in a professional office environment, managing projects and meeting strict deadlines
- Demonstrated advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint, along with general proficiency with other mainstream productivity software applications (Excel and Word testing performed before hiring)
- Must possess very strong analytical, project management, and communication skills
- Obsessively detail oriented and thorough, and always punctual
- Exceptional written & verbal communication skills; ability to multi-task, anticipate, and prioritize
- Proactive self-starter with excellent follow-up and time management skills; must be a team player and willing to jump in and assist where needed without being asked
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and efficiently with very little direction
- Capable of handling fast-paced, innovative, and constantly changing environment, and interacting with a wide variety of people with diverse personalities
- Positive and energetic attitude and disposition, even in the face of adversity and conflict (you must love your job)
