Starting Pay: This is an entry level position starting at $13.00/hourly base pay with possibility of earning an extra $150 or more monthly when including monthly incentives! Hard work can yield an extra $5k annually!
OBJECTIVE
- Our Tellers are the face of Texell and are expected to represent the credit union through excellent service, accuracy, and efficiency while serving members.
AS A FULL-TIME TELLER, YOU WILL:
- Give our members the WOW! service they deserve.
- Perform financial transactions with precision such as check cashing, withdrawals, deposits, loan payments, cash advances, and more.
- Follow all credit union security procedures and maintain member confidentiality.
- Work with high level attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Recommend credit union products and services. It is our responsibility to educate members on all the great things Texell has to offer!
- Perform additional functions according to credit needs during down time.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Positive attitude and a passion for helping people.
- High level of attention to detail.
- The ability to have patience, manage emotions, express empathy. We never know what the person in front of us might be going through.
RECOMMENDED SKILLS:
- Previous cash handling and/or sales experience.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products – primarily Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proficiency with common office equipment.
WE WANT YOU TO KNOW:
- This is a full-time, entry level sales and service position.
- 40 hours weekly

- Must have flexibility to work shifts between 7:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday and some Saturdays 8:45am to 1pm.
