Description
Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is a leading global manufacturer of golf cars, utility and personal vehicles, snowmobiles, side-by-sides, all-terrain vehicles, professional turf-care equipment, and ground support equipment. Textron Specialized Vehicles markets products under several different brands. Its vehicles are found in environments ranging from golf courses to factories, airports to planned communities, and theme parks to hunting preserves.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the review and preparation of government and commercial proposals and contracts (e.g., municipal bids, General Services Administration schedule, state contracts, international and domestic dealer and distributor agreements) at the direction of the Contracts Administrator.
- Create standard operating procedures.
- Create contract templates for use in repetitive situations.
- Support process improvement initiatives
- Work cross-functionally with Sales team members and others in the business to assist in executing agreements.
- Track contract expiration dates and ensure contracts are current on an annual basis.
- Assist with the evaluation of potential dealers and distributors by Textron's Global AntiCorruption Compliance program
- Gather data, and prepare reports, metrics, and templates for the legal team and business use
- Contributes to a culture of respect, dignity, and inclusion, where everyone, feels heard and understood, empowered and valued.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelors Degree in Paralegal Studies, Data Science, Information Science, Library, Business, or other related field
- Years of Experience: 2 or more years of experience. Previous experience in reviewing legal documents, contracts, and reporting
- Software Knowledge: Microsoft Office, DocuSign
- Travel Requirement: 5%
