Job Description Summary:
Responsible for maintaining all insurance licensure & certifications and monitor billing issues.
In This Opportunity You Will Get To:
Knowledge of payer enrollment, medical billing, and credentialing.
Knowledge of multi-state Medicaid and commercial payer enrollment.
Knowledge of PECOS and CAQH.
Submit credentialing applications and ensure all licensure/certifications are current.
Resource for members of billing/coding team needing assistance.
Monthly collection of data on billing issues and develops education/training for billing staff.
Comply with all policies and regulations for credentialing providers.
Maintain database of timelines and credentialed providers for use by other departments
Maintain professional relationships with staff, clients, payers, other agencies.
Attend relevant meetings, external and internal, and participate in agency committees as assigned by supervisors.
Other duties may be assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
2-3 years of experience in healthcare credentialing and insurance billing
Associate degree or industry-specific work experience required
