ABOUT CHASE HOUSE
Chase House is a Qualified Residential Treatment Program providing services to youth ages 12-18 who are part of the child welfare system. Our home-like environment provides a variety of services including prosocial outings, life skills development, therapeutic services, medical support, group facilitation and healing through relationships. At Chase House, we hope to ensure that every young person entering the program can transition to a safe and stable environment. This 24/7 program continues to flourish thanks to our strong and resourceful team that is able to meet work with humor, playfulness and dedication to their role.
WHO YOU ARE
YOU are an experienced manager that can motivate and inspire a team to provide excellent services in a trauma informed Qualified Residential Treatment Program. YOU enjoy a dynamic work environment where you get to mentor staff on the best relational approaches to connecting with youth. YOU have a high threshold for sometimes chaotic but always rewarding work. YOU are organized, have a clear direct communication style and can initiate the ability to build and support a positive work culture.
YOUR ROLE AT CHASE HOUSE
- Motivate and manage a team of 12-15 staff, interns and volunteers including; hiring, training, culture building, providing ongoing feedback, supervision, developing and oversight of schedules, performance evaluations, staff development, and facilitating team meetings.
- Oversee day-to-day operations of Chase House and provide administrative oversight to all residential or program activities.
- Provide coaching and training to develop skills and competencies of staff and volunteers.
- Develop, implement and oversee delivery of program activities in line with best practices.
- Ensure program compliance with state licensure, accreditation, and county contracts.
- Establish and maintain positive rapport and relationships with all youth, staff, or other community members involved in the home.
- Oversee data management and entry to support program goals and outcomes.
- Utilize and integrate data management in programming and staff development.
- Network and build relationships with community partners to support the program.
- Develop and oversee program budget in collaboration with the Director of Programs.
Requirements
PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- At least 3 years experience managing a team of at least 10 staff in a dynamic environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in field relevant to social work, 2 years of milieu experience in residential care.
- Ability to meet weekend, overnight and on-call responsibilities.
- Culturally competent and demonstrates commitment to continued education of social justice, especially the intersection of youth homelessness and race, sexuality, gender, ability, and socioeconomics.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Leadership and team building skills.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Able to understand and respect the importance of confidentiality.
- Willingness and ability to work in a dynamic environment, in a team setting.
- Strong computer skills, including GSuite, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time while also performing typing duties.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 30 lbs.
- Ability to lift, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, push and other strenuous activities.
- TGTHR's important work classifies our employees and program participants as high risk. Our staff's health, safety and ability to provide critical services remain our most important priorities. If you are hired, you will be required to prove that you have received the COVID-19 vaccine or are able to receive one within seven weeks of hire.
Preferred:
- LPC, LCSW or license eligible
- 5 years of experience working with youth who have systems involvement
- Experience supporting union staff
- Bilingual, English/Spanish
BENEFITS & COMPENSATION Salary Range: $63,500-$70,000/yr
