We currently have an opening in our Clarksburg, MD office for an Associate Network Engineer.  This position reports to the IT Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain
• Cisco Network infrastructure both LAN and WAN
• VoIP Telephony systems
• Wireless Solution
• Mobile Phone infrastructure
• NAC
• Load Balancer
• Assist ensuring continuous operations and resolve service impacts as they occur in both local and remote sites.
• Monitor and test system performance; prepare and deliver system performance statistics and reports.
• Interact and work with vendors, outsourcers, and contractors to secure system-related products and services.
• Conduct research on hardware and software products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
• Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, mapping, processes, and service records.
• Work with management and team members, decision makers, and stakeholders to define business requirements, systems goals, and to identify and resolve business systems issues.
• Ability to comply with all Company guidelines, policies, procedures and embrace Company Core Values. 

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship required. - Ability to obtain and maintain US Secret Level Security Clearance upon hire.
• Ability to conduct research into systems issues and products as required.
• Ability to periodically work nights and weekends as responsibilities require.  IT is responsible for 24/7 service and operations. 
• Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
• Proven analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Able to travel up to 25% of the time domestically to TDSI sites.
• Ability to lift 75lbs with or without assistant.

Preferred but not required

• Two year degree in related field
• Prior IT field related experience
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification
• Knowledge of Network Security - encryption, IDS/IPS, SSL VPN, 2-factor authentication
• Wireless networking and rogue access point detection technologies
• Knowledge of IPhone technology along with MDM products
• Scripting - Perl, TCL, etc.
• Citrix MDM Solution 
• Telephony administration
• Knowledge of MPLS, Internet, and SIP internet connections to both the internet and other remote sites.
• Network Management tools
• Network Troubleshooting tools such as sniffers and SNMP
