Senior ServiceNow Project Manager

Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior ServiceNow Project Manager to oversee the planning, implementation, and delivery of ServiceNow projects within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of the ServiceNow platform along with proven project management expertise to drive successful outcomes. This role requires exceptional leadership abilities, effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of project management methodologies.


Responsibilities:

1. Project Planning and Strategy:

  • Lead the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets for ServiceNow projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop strategies to ensure successful project execution and achievement of objectives.


2. ServiceNow Expertise:

  • Utilize deep knowledge of the ServiceNow platform to provide guidance and direction to project team members/developers.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on ServiceNow best practices, capabilities, and solutions.
  • Stay updated on the latest ServiceNow features and enhancements to leverage in projects.


3. Project Execution and Management:

  • Manage all phases of the project lifecycle, from initiation to closure.
  • Coordinate resources, including personnel, budget, and equipment, to ensure project success.
  • Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing any issues or risks.


4. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status and progress.
  • Facilitate communication between project teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment and transparency.


5. Quality Assurance and Compliance:

  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and adhere to established processes and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies throughout the project lifecycle.


6. Risk Management:

  • Identify potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or outcomes.
  • Develop mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address risks proactively.
  • Escalate critical issues to senior management as needed, providing recommendations for resolution.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience (at last 2 years) in project management, specifically in ServiceNow projects.
  • ServiceNow certification(s) such as Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Certified System Administrator (CSA) preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
