The Manager of Day Services provides oversight of all operations of the center, assuring they are aligned with the vision and mission of the agency. Guide and support staff in developing partnerships and utilizing resources in the community that give participants the opportunity to develop and maintain skills related to community membership, volunteer opportunities, retirement, and employment in integrated settings. * Attend annual PCP Meetings and Team Meetings as necessary. * Ensure daily attendance and documentation of activities and progress on PCP goals is reflected accurately in iCM. * Attend meetings and webinars to stay informed of best practices and upcoming changes. Ensure center and programming continues to comply with the CMS Final Rule. Prepare, educate, and lead staff towards change to new DDA Meaningful Day Services and fee for service billing in LTSS Maryland. * Ensure compliance with The Arc Baltimore, DDA, OHCQ, and other local, state and federal regulations, policies and procedures. * Other duties as assigned. Education & Experience * High School diploma required, associate's degree in relevant field preferred. * Minimum 3 years' experience in a supervisory capacity and a minimum of 5 years' experience supporting people with developmental disabilities in Meaningful Day services. * Knowledge of DDA waiver programs and services, and experience in the development of community-based activities, person-centered planning and person-centered thinking preferred. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and other technology tools preferred. * Valid driver's license and be eligible to drive agency vehicles. Working Conditions * Position requires frequent standing and walking. * Must be available to work a flexible schedule as dictated by the needs of the agency.
